This Solino Espresso is grown in the Ethiopian highlands in the regions of Illubabor and Jimma. The green coffee is then hand-roasted in Addis Ababa in traditional drum roasters. We
roast at very low temperatures of maximum 210 degrees Celsius for about 18 minutes. This long roasting process guarantees the best possible flavour and taste.
Ethiopian coffee is considered as one of the best Arabica coffees in the world. Usually this coffee is only added in small quantities to other coffees in order to improve the taste. Because of the roasting at the origin in Ethiopia, we provide better paid jobs for Ethiopians. More details about the value adding process and the advantages for Ethiopians you can find here.
